What is your all-time favorite nighttime snack?

For me, it has got to be meat-cheese rollups. Fast, extremely low-carb, and no-nonsense, this consists of a few slices of preservative-free, low-sodium beef, turkey, or chicken deli meat rolled inside slices of low-sodium Baby Swiss - dipped in mayo sweetened with a packet of Splenda so that it tastes like Miracle Whip.

This is my favorite close-to-bedtime snack. What is yours?

Mine would be either deviled eggs or string cheese!

Deviled eggs sound divine. It has been a million years since I've whipped up some of those. Good idea!!

Pepperoni chips with some melted cheese on them. Yum!

BLT wraps... use the lettuce leaf as the wrap, spread it with a little mayo, add your tomato and bacon.. and enjoy! I like to add mustard to mine.

'Course... my favorite late night snack of all, is dill pickle slices with mustard on them.

Re: What is your all-time favorite nighttime snack?

Greeting From Jerry McBrennan,

There are some excellent ideas for mid night snacks here. I dont have one as yet but I now have ideas on what I would like. The roll ups sound good and the yogurt mix sounds excellent. I would chase it with some filtered water or something to drink that was no cal and no carb just to make sure i was full.

Re: What is your all-time favorite nighttime snack?

Those all sound good, but it's funny that I don't ever get a craving for a night time snack. If I get one, it's usually in the morning, before lunch and I just usually go easy there with a couple of cheese cubes or something, maybe homemade jerky.

Re: What is your all-time favorite nighttime snack?

Funny thing...when you freeze those 4 oz containers of Jello Pudding, it takes longer to eat and you feel like you're having more than you really are
