Treadmill question

I have been doing the treadmill and I know I could do more on it if I didnt get so bored. I have tried reading but I get dizzy and I need to buy a radio or something

but what do you do while your doing your walk

Re: Treadmill question

I watch tv... I was having the same problem with being bored and my treadmill is in my laundry room/workshop, so I have our small 9" tv that we use camping hooked up in front of the treadmill.

If your goal is to walk 1/2 hour, you watch a 1/2 hour show. It works great for me.

Re: Treadmill question

There are TV's in the gym, even though the treadmills do not have a plug-in for the sound. Otherwise, I just watch the other people.

Of course, if you are at home, an alternate source of entertainment would be in order.

Re: Treadmill question

I realise that this is an old thread, but its always good to give input as you never know who else may be interested.

When I am jogging on the treadmill, I always just try to "switch" myself off mentally and let my mind wander. It helps with boredom.
