New Year's Challenge, March 6 - March 12
lol, so I'm a day early starting this thread, but I plan on being totally unmotivated tomorrow. Spent this weekend cleaning my office (we each have a room for our computer stuff) and the floor is still piled with stuff. I cleaned all the boxes up that were on the floor, but then moved the stuff from the desks and tables to the floor, and still have those piles to put away (books, bathroom stuff, kitchen stuff, and a pile of papers I've avoided dealing with since I moved here..)
And it turns out I AM a shoe ho. Getting a pile ready to take to the Salvation Army. And I think I'll only take one pair of boots back to Texas with me, but I still need 'em for now. As for my weight, I have good news. 134 this morning. After a bit of calorie counting I got food poisoning, which made it pretty easy to not eat *anything*. Still recovering from that, which keeps me from eating very much at a time. However, I'll take it any way I can get it, and I have just 9 lbs to go. Laura

I am checking in today, been about a month since I showed my sorry hide. I am down to 169! *dance* Hope everyone is doing great and I promise to check in more now that we are not moving! We are having a huge yardsale next weekend,( Lilburn, Ga. if anyone wants to come and buy up all my stuff!!) so my house is torn apart and half of our worldly possessions has a price sticker on it. I got real serious with it. Things we have carted from place to place for years is in that pile to go. Boy it felt good!! I will be taking pictures at 165 when the new digi cam is here. I am also off my Post partum medication completely and I feel fantastic. Like bottled sunshine!

I hit 280 this Friday -- that's 42.5 pounds lost since 1/16, so I guess I'm pleased. I really wanted to break the 280 mark, maybe I still will, as Tuesday is my official weigh-in day.

Arynn- Your kickin booty too girl Laura- 134 you only have 7 more pounds till that 127!!! Plus you already look amazing As for me, im not officially checking in until Friday......Thought I would atleast make an appearance

I have no idea what's my weight, as I'm away from home (again!!!). my kids won't even know how to spell mommy soon... Teaching in Finland as an exchange teacher this week - hopefully everything will go smoothly here. But the food is really hard to deal with, as they have only one cafeteria in the campus where to eat and the food isn't atkins-friendly at all (but it's actually really tasty and has a lot of green stuff). Hopefully not too much damage before I get to home to my own fridge again...

Laura, you're doing great! Yea Melinda on the new low! Sarah (PamB) you'll get there under that 280 mark! Where's Cleo in all this? I've not seen an update from here in a bit! YOO HOO!!! Well I was under 200, but today back to 201, this is annoying! LOL!! What I'd like to do is go walk, today's beautiful out, but I'm so worried about making my knee worse! That and the fact that I am watching my daughter's class at 9:30 (for an hour) while the teacher has an IEP (individual education plan) meeting with some parents and I get to take the kids down the 3 flights of stairs to the book fair. Kathy, you'll be permanently under 200 in no time. I say if it's nice out, go for the walk, but walk in the grass, where there's less impact to your joints.
