Re: First Year Anniversary

oh honey I am the last person to tell you to avoid a glass of wine...but if you are on a strict induction it could set you up and might put you back. The reality I think is you have to choose what you want right now good luck if choose to have wine ...please just enjoy it and do not pound a guilt trip into youself ...

congratulations!!!!! how long????

Re: First Year Anniversary

Instead of wine, how about a few whines instead?

"Moommmmmmm! She's breathing on me!"
"Moooooooommmmmmmmm! Bill's making armpitnoises again!"
"Moooommmmmmmm! He's touching me!"

Perhaps one glass of wine would be best, if you really think you should have some. Your body will burn the alcohol for fuel instead of fat, though.

Congratulations on your anniversary!

Re: First Year Anniversary

No, it is not very romantic...but we have been married for eight years, and have added three kiddos to the mix (ages 6, 4, 2) and the WHINE we have everynight! After awhile, it does become romantic: you really appreciate the silence after they all go to bed!!!

Go have some wine! Even Dr. A- said you should have birthday cake on your birthday! Just know ahead of time that it might slow you up, but life is short! Enjoy and Congrats!

Re: First Year Anniversary

Happ Anniversary! Mine was 9/14! I agree with many here, if you can have a glass or two of wine and not fall back into old habits, then I say go for it and enjoy! I am the type of person who will take one bite on "bad" food and end up eating the whole thing....LOL! Good luck!
