Favourite form of Excercise!
What do you prefer to do for your quota of excercise?
For me, I am enjoying my running at the moment, but it varies from month to month, to stop me from getting bored. How about the rest of you? Rich

Dancing of course! I'm not a big fan of although (hugs) are also good exercise and I've enjoyed but I can truly say I've never used that for exercise. these new smilies are fun!Kathy

For me it has to be swimming, just bought membership at my local sports centre, so now i have to go!

I hate excercise.
but I do LOVE to dance! And do it quite often around the house. I also love yard work! And when I'm in the mood believe it or not, I enjoy house work! LOL, I guess I enjoy how nice it is when the house work is done really, but I don't mind the process.

I don't have a favourite either I hate exercise, but i do it anyway. The exercise I hate the most is running , but I do it anyway, it kind of gets addicting. I guess out of all the exercises I do I like pilates the best..you get lots of results from just a short amount of time at it.

I never thought of myself as a runner, but doing it interspersed with brisk walking with the dogs, it is somewhat enjoyable. Of course, then I'm outside in the fresh air, too.
I don't care much for the stair climber. I don't mind the recumbent bike, but don't care too much for the stationery (other type) of exercise bike. I do like the rowing machine I'm OK with the elliptical and the cross ramp, but they are not my first choice. I don't mind my own bike, but haven't been on it in over two years, so I might have another opinion, now. I used to love to swim, but haven't done any lately, either. I used to take a pilates class where I worked before, and I enjoyed that. I still am hesitant about the straight legged sit ups, which seem to be popular in pilates, as so much of what I've read says they are bad on the back (and I can probably attest to that, as, every time we had class I was stiff the next morning with a sore back) |

I love cycling outdoors!
Most of the time the scenery is beautiful. It's easy on the joints. You make your own breeze on hot days. I ride a lot of trails and let me tell you, the bikers always look like they're having more fun than the runners!

I am doing The Firm right now and it really kicks your *** right into shape! It is hard to get thru, but really worth it. With a good combo of the DVDs and healthy eating, you can drop a dress size within a month!
