I'm still exercising, daily (with varying degrees of intensity, though) but not really seeing weightloss. It's frustrating.

Sarah, how many days are you exercising and how long have you been exercising that many days? You may to up the exercise... also... are you drinking enough water?

Ok......I am going to join in!! I have been walking the dog anywhere from 1/2 - 1 mile everyday. But I want to throw in at least a mile more on the treadmill every day too. I'm also going to try getting my power 90 exercises in at least three times a week. Think I can do it??

Ok Mary, after your and Piasabird's coaxing, I'm here too! I'm not sure how you all do it here, but I'll figure it out.
I did 2.3 miles on the treadmill yesterday in 30 minutes. Not real fast, but at least it was a start back to it. The first mile was at a good pace, running (more like jogging) the whole way, then I walked. I'm going to try to do this 4 days a week, increasing time and distance as I get back into it. Rick

Rick... It's very simple... you tell us how many days you will exercise, which you did, then you post each week, in the appropriate thread for that week, when you exercise... I keep track of and tally up if you made your goal or not... you just exercise and post, I'll do the rest!! Woo Hoo!!! I'm so happy that you are both here!!! |

Mary, I've been exercising an average of 6 days of 7, for the last month. Also, my water has averaged 96 oz per day, until 2 days ago, when I decided to go the distance and get a gallon in per day. When I drink all that water, I feel really great, gotta say!

Today I did the 2 mile WATP dvd.
I know I'm not going to make my goals for this exercise challenge, but all the other exercise benefits make up for it. I'm so glad to have some more join us in this thing! You know, you've got to move it to lose it!

Today was nice outside when I got home from work, so I put on a pair of shorts and went for a nice 3 mile walk, up and down two very high and steep hills... and did it in 42 minutes!!! So, I'm feeling pretty good about it. I made that walk a couple of times last year, but it took me almost an hour each time. Of course, with what I've lost this year it would have been like carrying a couple of large potato sacks with me last year!!!

Did another 3 mile walk outside today and it was really beautiful outside!!! I love this time of year... of course it's supposed to storm tonight and tomorrow!! Grrrr... So, I did make my 3 days worth of exercise this week.

I'm still exercising daily, but I find that it's getting more and more difficult to get in the full minutes. What I mean is -- I have this goal to do an hour, but TOTALLY crap out MENTALLY after 20 minutes, and have to really push just to get in 30 minutes.
All I can think of to do is to split it up into 30-minute sessions. That's fine with me, if it'll work. |
