Cool Running for the week of January 15, 2006

Okay .. so I *have* to ask .. where is everyone who said they'd be part of this thread?? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM? So far, its the two crazy running ladies ... ME AND SARAH!! Do I have to get my whip out??

Sunday: 20.25 miles done on the trail. Whew. Right now, the thought of running an additional 6 in the marathon is...well....over the top ... yanno? But this warrior will keep working! I've got 6 more weeks before the big day!

Re: Cool Running for the week of January 15, 2006

I ran 7 miles today took longer then usaual but, I wanted to be sure I would be able to run it. According to my Schedual for running on a treadmill you start out with you incline on 1% so stimulate you hip muscles you use them a lot when you run outside so I did that today and ran a bit slower. I did great finished 1 hour 30 minutes which is all right not a speed record but, I am happy.

Re: Cool Running for the week of January 15, 2006

Yup they totally do but if I am gunna get the fat moving I got to do somehting the running is awesome but, I am stuck so what better way to rev up the metabolism then lift some serious weigh gain some Muscle Mass and Lean out while losing fat YAY I love weight lifting even know I am still 193 right now GRR but, tom is comming so it's understandable. Oh, I sure hope I have a HUGE Whoosie when it's done that would be great I really wanna get down to the 100 lost and more importantly lose some more inches.

Re: Cool Running for the week of January 15, 2006

15.50 miles done on Saturday on the trail. The weather was superb. About 70, cloudy with a gentle breeze. I think I could have run all the way to the ocean!

Re: Cool Running for the week of January 15, 2006

So I ran at a 2% incline it really hard had some trouble so I was trying to go for 13 But after i hour I had to rest so I did 5 miles GRRR. I will have to start basically from scratch again and build my milage doign the 2%. And also I got my mind made up for the Marathin. I am somewhat pissey about it but, I will be doing the Half. My daughters have their dance recital on the very same day so I will run the half then go to see them dance in the afternoon. I don't want to miss it and if I run the full I will no doubtedly wanna fall over dead so I will do the Half and be happy with that even know I had my heart set on the Full. Maybe I can find one somewhere close to do in August or something I HOPE!!
